36 Days of Type 2023: Edition 10
36 Days of Type celebrates typography, involving folks from all fields in a global and simultaneous act of creativity around type and letterforms. This year, my mission was to create a unified and cohesive set, all centered around the theme of monsters/beings, furry creatures, as well as some special appearances from their fellow humans!
Throughout the project, the notion of being 'hidden' binds most of the visuals together. To bring this concept to life, I carefully composed the artwork to focus on close crops of these creatures. Instead of revealing their complete identities, I chose to showcase only glimpses of their limbs, tails, or torsos, imbuing the artwork with a compelling sense of mystery and peculiarity.
